Fishy Friday

Today my husband made his special salmon for dinner.

He coats each piece in pan searing flour and sears it in the heavy frying pan. He steamed some green beans and then threw them in the same pan after the salmon was done cooking. After the beans cook for a few minutes, he adds a spicy orange sauce to them.

The crust that forms from the flour is delicious. It's amazing that something so simple can make something taste so good. Last week I made some tilapia with the same flour and it was good too. And another time my husband used corn starch as a coating and that was surprisingly good too.

Add some fresh mashed potatoes and the meal is all set.
